How to Feed

For Reptiles: Offer an appropriate portion as part of a varied diet. Freeze-dried larvae may be lightly rehydrated before feeding to improve texture and moisture content.

For Amphibians: Offer only to species and individuals that readily accept nonmoving prey. Rehydrate when appropriate and ensure the larvae are suitably sized.

For Isopods: Place a small amount directly on the substrate or in a feeding dish. BSFL can provide supplemental animal protein for omnivorous species.

For Other Invertebrates: Offer only to species known to consume dried or nonliving insect prey.

Remove uneaten food as needed to prevent spoilage, mold, and unwanted pest activity.
